S&K is a key contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE), providing expertise that ensures our clients meet or exceed their mission goals and objectives. In Utah, we’ve supported the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) since project start in 2007 as the Technical Assistance Contractor. In partnership with Pro2Serve, our work contributes to the safe removal of residual radioactive materials from the Moab site to a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission-approved disposal cell 30 miles north near Crescent Junction, Utah.
